Alrashad Center for Children Rehablitation in Khartoum, Sudan

The Alrashad Center for Children Rehablitation shelters approximately 400 children between the ages of 6 and 16, in four facilities around Khartoum. Children in ACCR shelters are orphans or have been separated from their families due to the war or HIV/AIDS.

ACCR provides these children with provisional accommodations, food and potable water, basic medical attention, as well as a safe place to play. Aside from serving as a “refugee camp”, the Alrashad Center for Children Rehabilitation provides children with basic education and crafting skills.
